Toby Morse (aka “Toby1”) is founder of One Life One Chance and is best known around the world as the charismatic, energetic and always smiling front man for hardcore punk band H2O. Toby is well-liked and respected by numerous musicians, actors and athletes, from the roughnecks of New York City’s Lower East Side to the celebrities of the Hollywood Hills.
He’s released numerous albums with independent and major labels, appeared live on Conan O’Brien’s show and toured around the world with bands like Sum 41, New Found Glory, Rancid, The Used, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Dropkick Murphys. He’s sponsored by companies like Nike. And yet many “regular” folks would be surprised to learn for someone who’scovered with tattoos, Toby is also a husband, father and aclean-living vegetarian for 22yrswho has never touched drugs or alcohol his whole life .
Though he’s been in the music business for more than 15 years, and witnessed friends and family struggle with the lure of addiction, Toby’s adherence to a healthy lifestyle has propelled him through the tough times. Raised alongside two brothers by a single-mom, Toby fell in love with music and relocated to New York City in 1988 to be nearer to the hardcore punk scene. Today, Toby lives in Los Angeles with his wife Moon and son Max, where he continues to play music with H2O. Toby’s vast and varied experience offers him a unique and thrilling vantage point.
